Previewing and producing my new movie "Happy Blog-iversary Baby," creating this blog, collaborating with my Niece Deborah, and meeting so many new blogger buddies is the most fun I've had in decades. I can't explain it; I don't understand it, but I love blogging. I went from feeling totally disconnected to the world to feeling connected for the first time. I even think my work performance improved. Self-pity has to decrease job performance. Instead of feeling sorry for myself when none of the girls asked me to go out to lunch with them, I skipped down to the local hot spot, laptop in toe, and checked out new posts.
I can sincerely say that I enjoy reading other people's blogs more than I do posting. Although, posting does have its purpose in my life; to trivialize everything that happens to me, good or bad, and at the same time stop and smell the coffee more. Leaving comments is a lot of fun too. I even won th
e cute little sheep, featured in my collage, at Kate's blog Chronicles of a Country Girl. He looks woolly happy sitting on the top of my wine rack.Since I joined Sky Watch I find myself looking up a lot more now and other things are beginning to look up as well. Some blogs are so intriguing and creative that I can't wait to visit them. All of my frequently visited blogs are listed in my sidebar and I recommend them highly. One of my favorites is mentioned in my special Blog-iversary movie (two days in the making) that follows this narrative.
This week I had a period of time where I could not access my blog. I was in a tizzy and Daryl at Out & About in New York City, helped me out. I panicked and thought the blogging police shut me down. My Happy Blog-iversary movie is my most ambitious creative project so far and I am excited about it. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did making it.
My friend, Colleen Heath Daniels, on Facebook, tagged me for a meme entitled "25 Things You Really Need to Know About Me. Or Not." I have to say that it felt very narcissistic completing this and posting it.
Remember, Pouty says: "Laughs are free!"

Cool collage. The sheep looks like it's having more fun at your place than mine!

Aren't we all a bit touched by OCD, I wonder? How many of us can honestly say we've never checked the gas is off more than once before leaving the kitchen, for example?! As for feeling depressed, laughter is a pretty good medicine- even if the only one to laugh at is ourselves!
FABULOUS ... brava .. and I can only vouch for you being upset and I would have been too if my blog disappeared!
That movie clip is cute!
What a fun post! Happy Blog-iversary!
I lost my blog for a few hours last week too. And since I also have OCD, I went into full panic mode. But my blog came back. Phew!

Wow Pouty, that vid is amazing, and so much fun, my goodness you are a fast learner, from "newbie" to "Teckie Wizard" in the space of no time! I am so glad you're enjoying blog-land, I have made some very special friendships in here, and consider myself well and truly blog-addicted. There are worse things to be (smile).
Sorry, I couldn't place a comment on your Super Bowl post so I'll just say it here - there was a HUGE Aussie interest in the game - for obvious reasons!
