- We live in a quandary with our minds on overload.
- We are over the top, pass the buck, live large, and don't see the forest for the trees.
- We spend money we don't have, continually buy more, but don't have time to enjoy what we have.
- We are technophiles with more for our convenience, yet we are always in a rush.
- We are over educated but make no sense when we speak; we have IQ's of 120+, but we're not on the same page.
- We abound with specialists, experts, and sixth sense, but we have multitudinous unsolvable problems.
- We take a pill for every ailment, but wellness seems unattainable.
- We have way too many vices, problems, and helplessness, but we don't pray enough.
- We waste time, hate work, wish our lives away, and then wonder where the time went.
- We watch too much TV, spend too much time on the internet, read too little, and don't get enough rest.
- We talk too much, interrupt people, and don't listen enough, yet we think we know more than others know.

I can only speak for myself. Change would do me good.

....which is why I moved to a village in India :)
amen.
Good points! You never know what can happen next, or how long we have - a good reason to treasure our loved ones and spit at our enemies ;)
Never a truer word - my friend.
Enjoy the short time we have on this planet,,,,,,before we go and visit our relations in Soul land.
A-freaking-men!
Little changes can bring about big rewards.
Personally, the internet gives me an opportunity to read so many good and amazing people, along witht hteir thoughts and hopes and dreams, that I have expanded by leaps and bounds since I first read a blog in 2008.
PG: When it comes to the internet, I agree wholeheartedly. However, someone needs to pass me the moderation.
I think you're just having a bad day, and tipping the balance towards the negative. The pendulum swing will happen soon and tilt you back to the positive! After all, the point of equilibrium is the place to aim for...in the middle! Chin up, blogpal. :)
This is going on the wall.
Change would do us all good I think...
I heard this..loud and clear..very well done!
Excellent list with some great points. It's finding a balance in life that's so hard. All things in moderation.
I agree with PG about the internet.
Definitely food for thought.
I think change would do most of us a world of good!
Nice Blog. Congrats.

You are so right!
What's happening in Blogworld? Or is it the change of seasons? I've read a lot of blogs of people who are not happy with their current situation. There are two things one can do: live with it and make the best of it or change it. Or is that too simple a thought?
Knowing what the problems are is the first step towards a better life! Not the best translation of one of my slogans (another one is 'shit happens'), but you know what I mean.
Hugs to you ;-)
Your thoughts are heard everywhere.
